Is there anything I can do to improve the photo quality of the printer?

Almost every instant photo printer today uses ZINK technology for printing (even Polaroid). This technology is great because it allows us to make small, portable printers you can take anywhere. The downside is that sometimes photo quality leaves a little bit to be desired.

We’re always updating our app with new color correcting algorithms that increases overall photo quality. These are in constant improvement. In addition, we have a full photo editing suite within our app, so when you’re getting ready to print, you can make changes to the photo to adjust for degradation in sharpness or brightness. If photo quality is poor, we generally recommend increasing brightness and saturation to help with color and pop, though each photo is different.
