If it’s been a while since you’ve used your Lifeprint printer, the battery may have lost its power. Please charge for at least one hour, and then try to turn it on. Plugging the printer in won’t mean it can turn back on immediately. It will need about an hour to charge before it can turn back on.
If you’re still having trouble, try resetting your printer:
- Find the reset button. To do this, look on the back of the printer, and find the small hole next to the ZINK logo. Directly to the right of the ZINK logo, you'll see a small hole with a small circle logo below it.
- Take a safety pin, or another small pin or any small pointy thing for that matter, and press it inside this hole for five seconds.
- Remove the lid of the printer so you can easily access the power button and try to power back on

So I tried doing that because I updated my printer twice yesterday and it was perfectly fine until the last update it turned off and it didn't turn on anymore but it charges but when it charges, it turns on green really fast then changes to red and it stays on like that. So I did the reset button and when I did that, the light was green but it doesn't turn on
Vallerieare10 Was your issue resolved? I had a brand new one brick on me yesterday in a similar manner instead it turned to LED to blue & white & would never hard reset! Very frustrating & I emailed Customer service Yesterday but no one responded & now today, they're CLOSED so I'm sending that one back & trying another one.
Hmmmm now I'm finally seeing on here that the blue light was meant to indicate that my printer was connected to my WiFi but I still could not get it to print anything. It just kept rolling the lone film sheet I had in it through but NEVER printing anything. And I couldn't get it to hard reset either. The new unit comes today, here's hoping I have better luck with this one because as of right now, you guys are the ONLY AR printer in the game!!!
Unfortunately I have the same problem. I’ve used the printer for only 15 prints in total, and the charging problem can’t be fixed. Also the app isn’t running as it should. Videos are recognised, but are not running at all. I just love to use AR for my project, but I’m so disappointed the product isn’t stable.. well not working I mean.
